Astrophotography

A Space Odyssey

A collection dedicated to astronomy and the night sky: from the Solar System to deep-sky objects and the wide fields of the Milky Way.

Adriano Alfaro

The story behind this project

The photographs are captured using telescopes and cameras, both in Sorrento and while travelling around the world. Some projects result from international collaborations, combining data collected by multiple astrophotographers; others are individual shots dedicated to the night sky and atmospheric phenomena.
